Little Baby Bugs is a company run by two mummies Becky and me, Louise. After meeting at a local Surestart centre we became friends and between us have four children under 3 years old. Becky is a SCBU nurse (just promoted to Sister) and I have spent 10 years working in Television before having children. Over a few glasses of wine we came up with an idea for a company that would design stylish baby accessories, gifts and provide advice, information and products relating to real nappies.

There is so much information out there on real (cloth) nappies and it's difficult to know were to start. When I was pregnant with my first baby (Isabella) I decided to use cloth but had no idea how to go about it. Using the internet I found an advisory service and a lovely lady came to my house and my obsession with cloth began! A lot of the information on the internet was confusing though and so Becky and I began thinking of a way to compress it all making it easier to understand and more accessible.

Over the last 3 years my cloth nappy stash has branched out from the original set I bought and I fell in love with all the funky and fabulous designs out there. Becky is an amazing sewer and I dusted off my sewing machine and between us we decided that rather than buying in all our cloth nappies and baby accessories we could make them ourselves, reducing our carbon footprint even less. We made the decision to establish a business that we could run as ethically and environmentally friendly as possible, aiming to source as much as we could from the UK.

Cloth Nappies

They are made from a minky outer, PUL waterproofing and either microfeece or fleece inner lining all in a range of fbaulous designer prints. They are suitable from birth to potty allowing maximum use!

Duckie Tag Blankets

They are tag blankets/comforters and measure approx 30cmx30cm. Made from luxurious Minky fabric - it is a fabric that has to be felt to be believed how soft it is!

Custom Blankets

**PLEASE NOTE ALL BLANKETS ARE MADE TO ORDER AND THERE CAN BE A WAITING LIST OF UP TO 3 WEEKS** Made from printed minky fabric on one side and plain cuddlesoft fabric on the reverse. There is a handy pocket on the front edged in ribbons. You can have the blanket made with or without pocket or ribbons.
